Wisconsin's Managed Forest Law (MFL) is a deferred property tax program that provides an incentive to private landowners to sustainably manage their woodlands. Property taxes are reduced on lands enrolled in the program. This study investigates the effects of shifting MFL enrollments on township property tax revenues (24 pages).
