Preparing to Parent is a set of four newsletters written for people who are preparing to meet the challenges and joys of having and raising a child. The authors begin with early pregnancy and move to the time of birth and afterwards, offering practical advice about a host of topics, including what to do to keep mother and baby healthy, the role fathers can play during pregnancy, and what equipment (such as car safety seats and highchairs and cribs) must be in readiness for the new arrival.
This revision includes all the newest sources of information and latest research on topics of interest to prospective parents (16 pages per newsletter, 2011).
This publication is also available in Spanish: Preparación para ser padres (B3789S).
